Deutsche Bank Anticipates VZ 4Q To Be In-Line Adjusted EPS Of $0.55
Deutsche Bank is anticipating Verizon Communications' (NYSE: VZ) 4Q results, which are due Tuesday, January 25.
“We anticipate in-line adjusted EPS of $0.55,” Deutsche Bank writes. “Our est adjusts for the change in pension accounting, but excludes the 1x non-cash charge of $600M. In wireless, we estimate EBITDA margin of 45.8% down from 47.2% in 3Q on seasonal pressures. In wireline, we anticipate a 3rd consecutive quarter of sequential EBITDA margin expansion (est 22.8%, up 10 bp QoQ) on FiOS momentum (est 185k data and TV net adds) and ongoing force reductions.
“Despite positive NT trends, we remain cautious on the stock's extended valuation. Reiterate Hold.”
